Wonderful little Marina. They have a beautiful clubhouse with seating, a kitchen area for anyone's use, an ice machine with free ice to use for your coolers, and a pool. The staff is friendly and the price is about average for South Haven, but the amenities are above average.
I used to dock my boat here but not anymore. This place would be great if they monitored the folks they rented slips to. A part of the marina called the "island" regularly gets calls to have the police come out. A small number of boaters are the problem but management seems not to care. They allow folks to be drunk and belligerent so no one else can have any fun. I was by there just the other day and it looks like the same group of inconsiderate boaters are back. I'd recommend renting a slip elsewhere unless you like dealing with the police and loudmouths.
The trailer park of marinas. I used to keep my boat here about 7 years ago and it was a prestigious marina. Now if you want to pitch a tent go right ahead and spend the night. There is so much clutter you can't walk through the island or down the sidewalks. Not to mention the partying to 2am then the 7am wake up to the little kids next door ringing a ships bell for 10 minutes. Wish I could post pictures here.
Great atmosphere! Nice choices in regards to different sections and social cultures! Someone said it perfectly...on the 'Wall' they eat more, on the 'Island' they drink more and on the 'curve' they sleep more.
